Dr. Erica Albanese, DACM, LAc

Associate Acupuncturist

Dr. Albanese is intentional with her treatments – She seeks to provide optimal care to each patient by establishing a safe environment in which they can thrive and reach their health goals.
In her clinical experience, she has concentrated on Women’s Health and Holistic Skincare. Dr. Albanese continues to study by also training in Facial Rejuvenation, including a Holistic Microneedling certification through AcuDerm. She cherishes each opportunity to assist this patient population.
Her treatment style is based on Japanese Meridian Therapy, a form of acupuncture that always aims to treat the root cause of symptoms. The gentle and thorough approach to meridian therapy is what truly sparked her ongoing interest. She has found it to be an ideal treatment for pediatrics, and as well as for those who are new to acupuncture or may be needle-sensitive.
Dr. Albanese is a California Board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She received dual Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. There, her externship was completed at UCSD’s Owen clinic alongside the HIV care team, using acupuncture and herbs to treat immunocompromised patients. Before obtaining her doctorate, she worked as a Medical Assistant at an Orthopedic/Pain clinic and assisted in regenerative medicine procedures.
In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Kala, surfing tiny waves, resting at home with some dark chocolate nearby, and traveling back to the east coast to spend time with family
