Dr. Blume is dedicated to treating each individual uniquely, meeting patients wherever they are on their healing journey.
As a California Board-Certified Acupuncturist and Fellow of the American Board of TCM Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), her clinical focus encompasses women’s reproductive health, fertility, and pre-conception and postpartum wellbeing. Her deep passion for reproductive health stems from personal experiences with hormone imbalances that began in her teenage years, leading to diagnoses of PCOS, Hashimoto’s, and Stage III Endometriosis.
In addition to her expertise in reproductive health, Dr. Blume is passionate about holistic skincare. She has advanced training in cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation from renowned experts Shellie Goldstein, Michelle Gellis, and Dr. East Haradin. She is also certified in Holistic Microneedling by AcuDerm and AcuMicro.
Dr. Blume earned her Doctorate (DACM) and Master’s (MSTOM) degrees from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, completing 4,800 hours of clinical and didactic training in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Western Medicine. Her extensive clinical experience includes externships at the Downtown Senior Clinic at First Lutheran Church and Rady’s Children’s Hospital, where she worked in the Chronic Pain Department. She also trained at a teaching hospital in Beijing, China, rotating through the Gynecology, Pain Management, Orthopedic, and Neurology departments.

She is intentional with her treatments, striving to provide optimal care to each patient by creating a safe environment where they can thrive and achieve their health goals. With a particular focus on Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Albanese takes great joy in guiding couples and individuals through their fertility journey and assisting women with issues related to the menstrual cycle—from menarche through post-menopause and hormone transitions. Offering on-site acupuncture for embryo transfers is one of her favorite aspects of this work, and she cherishes every opportunity to support this patient population.
In addition to reproductive medicine, Dr. Albanese is passionate about Holistic Skincare. She continues to expand her expertise, earning certifications in Facial Rejuvenation, including Holistic Microneedling through AcuDerm. This ongoing education allows her to provide comprehensive care and treatments for her diverse patient base.
Her treatment style is rooted in Japanese Meridian Therapy, a gentle and effective form of acupuncture that addresses the root cause of symptoms. Dr. Albanese appreciates this subtle, thorough approach, which has led her to specialize in pediatrics and in treating patients who are new to acupuncture or may be needle-sensitive.
Dr. Albanese holds dual Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. During her externship, she worked alongside the HIV care team at UCSD’s Owen Clinic, using acupuncture and herbal medicine to support immunocompromised patients. Prior to earning her doctorate, she worked as a Medical Assistant at an Orthopedic/Pain clinic, assisting in regenerative medicine procedures.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Erica enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Kala, surfing tiny waves, relaxing at home with dark chocolate nearby, and traveling back to the East Coast to spend time with family.
Dr. Kahveciyan (aka “Dr. K”) is passionate about helping individuals optimize their health and wellness by working with them in aligning their mind, body and spirit.
Dr. K’s love of Eastern Medicine began on a spiritual quest to India in 2015 followed by a yoga teacher training. After receiving a series of acupuncture treatments and taking herbs to help her balance hormones and regain vitality, she quickly discovered and understood the power within the medicine. She then embarked on her educational journey to earn her Doctorate at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, a place where she felt deeply inspired by nature and was able to seamlessly integrate her learnings of TCM amongst the elements.
Now as a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has spent her years of clinical practice focusing on Women’s Health and Fertility as well as Cosmetic Acupuncture with Microneedling and Facial Rejuvenation. Dr. K is honored to be able to work with women and serve them in these ways using holistic approaches rooted in ancient wisdom.
No matter where women are on their health and fertility journeys, Dr. K is able to support every step of the way. Her areas of expertise include IVF/IUI prep, FET prep, recurrent pregnancy loss, thyroid disorders, endometriosis, PCOS, menopause, hormonal balance, cycle regulation, digestive health and emotional wellbeing. In addition to helping women with fertility, she supports males in enhancing their fertility and feels grateful to be able to work with couples in this unique and sacred way. Dr. K is also proud to offer holistic facial treatments to support graceful aging through Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling. She believes the face is a reflection of total body health and utilizes many modalities in the clinic to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Dr. K enjoys taking her time with each patient case, thoughtfully curating customized treatment plans that encompass tailored lifestyle, dietary, herbal and supplemental recommendations. Her approach to treatments is root cause-based and integrative, as she understands that both ancient and modern medicine are often necessary for optimal healing. Her needling technique is effective and felt, yet comfortable and relaxing. She enjoys connecting with patients and staying up to date on the happenings in their lives.
When out of office, Dr. K loves being in nature, finding new hot springs and dancing to music at shows and concerts. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family and cattle dog named Luca.
